My ex-fighter and current Pelican Gaius Maricellus Liberius Auklandus had asked me a REALLY long time ago to replace a machine-appliqued sun on his dress-surcoat. I agreed, and eventually decided on a pattern and stitch, when I hit the wall in figuring out how to applique it onto the garment. If you've not read my post about the October Crown needlecase or seen any other pieces that I personally finished, then let me inform you that I really suck at construction. Really really.

My friend Marsaili, who's also listed on the household site, had let me know a good way to get it on there. But have I taken the time to complete the project? No. Why? Because I'm lazy, that's why! Yes, bad protoge, not buscuit. Gaius is well aware of this fact and yet has found it in his heart to forgive me because I do a whole load of other projects that involve service. Like regalia, lots and lots and lots and lots of it. Did I mention lots of it?. EVENTUALLY I'll finish this project. But it's in the Eternal section for a reason.
