PRINCESS' ROSE POUCH
Updates:
| Oh look - another rose pouch. Why should today be different than any other? | ||
| I had agreed to do this one quite some time ago, and since there are one fewer princesses that queens during the year, these tend to go by slower. I was so enamored by how the queen's rose pouch I made for Eilis turned out that I decided to do another one just like it, only in the Mists princess' colors and in a different pattern. | ||
| Once again, I'm working in DMC cotton on 32 count linen, only this time I sewed in hanger pieces into the seams for a more uniform stretch. I am using another Wymarc pattern that is my absolute favorite one - the one that looks like vines going every which way. Once again, I'm using a light and dark hue for each color: white and gray for the petals, medium and dark green for the leaves, and medium and dark blue for the background. | ||

Just like for Eilis' pouch, this one is turning out well. I am again having difficulties keeping the lines smooth. I have an idea about how to fix that for future projects like this, but that doesn't help this one. Oh well, no biggie. | ![]() |
| This pouch isn't due until about May of next year, so I have quite a long time to finish. Yay for planning ahead! |
