SABRINA'S MANTLE PATCH

| Although I finished this project quite some time ago, I couldn't report about it until after Purg since it was part of a surprise. |

| Catherine Lorraine asked if I would help work up patches for a mantle that was gifted to Sabrina de la Bere on the occasion of her Pelicaning. I specifically chose one of the easier patterns left to me, as I didn't have a whole heck of a lot of time to work on the thing. It was that of the Queen's Treasure Chest, so it was all lines. | |
| Catherine drew up the pattern on gold linen and gave me some skeins of Needlepoint Inc. silk skeins to use. It went really quick and wasn't much of a challenge, but the coolest part was being intrduced to the brand of silk. I hadn't used them, and they're quite delicious. | |
| Catherine sent me this picture that she had taken of my patch. She is awaiting pictures of the entire mantle from Sabrina, which I will post here once I can get them myself. |
